The Romaria d'Agonia is known as one of the largest in Minho, and we'll be attending three of its most important events: the Mordomia parade, where traditional costumes and gold pieces are displayed; the historical-ethnographic procession; and the day of the sea procession, where we'll see the streets in full bloom in the morning.

At the mouth of the Lima river is Viana do Castelo. At the top of St.ª Luzia, the Citania and the Sacred Heart of Jesus Sanctuary. In the city, the Manueline, Renaissance, Baroque or Art Deco monuments. On the river and at sea, fishing, shipbuilding. The art and tradition of outfits and Viana filigree. In the religiosity of the seafarers, the festivities and the pilgrimage of N.ª Sr.ª da Agonia are a great point among so many events in Viana.
